Although the argument about the desperation angle has been pointed out before, Baldilocks points out the crucial differences between the society that spawned (and ultimately shunned ) the Klan and the societies that have brought forth the islamofacism, and why this difference will likely make defeating Islamism vastly harder (and perhaps even MORE necessary. as distateful as that is to contemplate).
