Well, this is several days old but I've been all sorts of busy.
Opportunity and Spirit the two NASA Mars Rovers have both turned up evidence of good old dihydrogemonoxide on Mars!
This is big
Really Really BIG.
Although there was known to be water at the north pole at least these confirm that the Red Planet was once pretty durned wet....likely wet enough for life (as we know it Jim) to spring up.
This article goes into the difference these discoveries will likely make in the direction of Mars science.
