I almost forgot, I've been offline for so long this had faded from memory.
MY SISTER IS OK! :)
The "growths" were noncancerous and actually run in the family. They are unusual but no cause forconcern, their rarity being the reason that the doctor gave hus the initial scare.
Whew!!
