Antimatter Age!!!

Ok, not quite yet but coolness nonetheless!
I was just getting ready to go to bed when this caught my eye. (Hat Tip: DefenseTech)

It is a NASA release indicating that the 10 milligrams of antimatter (positrons actually) needed for a quick Mars flight could be had for only 250 million dollars.

This is a large sum but well worth it for the vast increase in capabilities IMHO.

This also means that really interesting places like Titan and Enceladus would potentially also be within reach! :)

OTOH we may want to wait until we can store he stuff on the moon since a containment failure involving a few trips worth of fuel would be....ummm...bad.
