Moonbase Rationale

Rand Simberg, spaceblogger extrordinare, links to an article by Dr. Spouts of the Aldridge commission.

I was unaware that 135 cubic kilometers of ice had been discovered!!

Schweeet!!

He lays out a convincing rationale for why the administration is so fixated on the moon. It is the resource base for expanding throughout the solar system.

Simberg also points out that there is a growing likelihood that the CEV will be the product of a competitive flyoff.

Cool!!!
