Paleontologists recently cracked open a T-Rex leg bone while trying to remove it from the rock...upon close examination it was found to contain SOFT TISSUE!
Good grief!
Now after 68 million years of background radiation alone, the DNA is pretty much gone, I'd think, but this is a huge discovery! :)
