Well, I saved no lives, no whales, and thwarted no pirates, but I participated in an event free harbor patrol (no oil slicks at the last minute THIS time) and, more importantly, I got a huge ammount done with regards to my qualifications letters. (This is gratifying, since each time that I've gotten close to a qualification letter, I've had my area of concentration switched....I'm now verry close to 4 different certifications and I may get qualified in all of them before the end of the summer :)
I volunteered for Gulf Coast duty starting in July.
I've lost 5 pounds since the last drill. :)
