Interesting. It looks like theres an 8 or 16 cell VLS system behind the 57mm autocannon. More likely there is space reserved.
Note that unlike most cutters this one is designed to go into harms way to a certain extent. (Overseas antipiracy ops and such.)
It will also reportedly have a research lab, so it's POSSIBLE (though unlikely) that Marine Science Techs might start deploying on cutters again.
Although I like my job and being in the Coast Guard reserve, I do sometimes curse my shorebound rate.
