Wow! I didn't see that one coming.....
Yesterday, and again today, I heard from an old friend I never really expected to hear from again. I'd feared that bridge had been forever burnt.
This really took me aback.....I don't think it at all likely we'll see much of each other being in different parts of the country now and going in quite different directions professionally, but it was really good to hear from one of the best and oldest friends I've had the privilege to know.
Even better, the friend in question is doing really well.
Well.....That was just beyond cool! :)
True friends are rarer than 4-leaf-clovers and more precious than gold.
