The Quake

The big story over the weekend of course was the terrible earthquake in Pakistan...The radio reports the death toll is already exceeding 20,000 and going up.

Michelle Malkin, as always, has a good roundup of relief/donation links as does the Command Post.

The US& UK are reportedly sending aid via their firebases in Afghanistan and the EU is sending some rescue crews. The Japanese already have people onscene and.....astonishingly, India, also hit by the quake, has offered huge aid forces to its londtime rival....even more astonishingly Pakistan just accepted!

I feel better about humanity today.
