Syrian chemical weapons may well have been used in Darfur, at least that is what this report on TCP says.
The Sudan Tribune has a more skeptical view as one might expect.
Nevertheless, gas or no gas, the situation in the Sudan is pretty wretched.
The UN passed a rather castrated resolution on the situation that, as Blogfather Dominus asserts, was progress of a sort as it got the French on board and involved no vetoes.
