Reagan Dead

This should come as a relief given his condition, but it still hurts. I really have come to admire the man and what he did. His administration was in no way perfect but it was pretty darned successful. I really think that on balance the US and the world is better offf for having had him in office.

The left, their philosophy and the USSR are not, hence the reaction from those paragons of compassion at DU. (which I will not link to because....well....I've just had enough of their hate, and now is not the time for that. )

Incidentaly, here is a good piece debunking one of the more vile lies about Reagan, namely that he did nothing or worse than nothing about AIDS.

I own a copy of The Politics of Bad Faith by David Horowitz and it details the way basic public health procedures wewre stoped in the early days. Reagan was not responsible for this PC leftie obliviousness was....Before the virus was identified there was little that could be done but close the bathouses as no one knew what was going on except that it seemed to be virulent.
The bathouses were kept open by PC kibitzing. I highly recommend that you read this book, which includes input from AIDS activist (and victim)Randy Schultz.
