Well this stinks on ice!

The White House Pres/Sec is denying a space speech will take place.

I'm still hopeful, the study isn't complete yet and the traditional venue for such announcements is a State of the Union Address.

Remember, Bush the First proposed a big ambitious space plan, the Space Exploration Initiative also mentioned here , so there is a history there. That got nixed by a combination of NASA bureaucrats and a Democrat Congress.

My fingers are still crossed....
